About The Artist
Amy Roberts is a mixed media artist who works with light and glass. She has a long history in the glass field, having taught at Pilchuck Glass School and worked in studios throughout the US spanning a decades-long career. Roberts' recent work pares disparate components together to reveal a relationship and hidden resonance between visual elements.
The artist lives and works on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Her sculptural work has been exhibited in galleries and museums internationally, and is included in the collections of Huntington Museum of Art, Museum of American Glass, Microsoft Corporation, and the City of Seattle, among others.
